NOTES:
PolishedCrete has no knowledge or authority regarding where this mix is to be placed. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the project architect / engineer, and / or contractor to insure that the above designed mix parameters of compressive strength, water cement ratio, cement content, and air content are appropriate for the anticipated environmental conditions (i.e., ACI-318-96 Chapter 4, and the local Building Codes).
Chemical admixtures are added in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
Designed mix cementitious content is stated as a minimum, and PolishedCrete reserves the right to increase cementitious content.
The concrete shall have a minimum compressive strength of 4,000 psi. Portland cement shall conform to ASTM C150, type I, II or IV depending on soil conditions. Aggregates shall conform to ASTM C33. Mixing water shall be fresh, clean and potable. In freeze/thaw areas only an air entraining admixture complying to ASTM C260 shall be used in accordance with the published recommendations of the Portland Cement Association and the ACI. No admixtures containing calcium chloride shall be permitted.
WARRANTY OF THIS FLOORING SYSTEM REQUIRES COMPLIANCE TO MIX DESIGN AND FINISHING SPECIFICATIONS.
